French Toast
This easy French toast recipe will be a great addition to your family’s breakfast menu. Believe it or not this is my first time making French toast and the secret to the perfect French toast is all in the bread. Brioche bread is perfect for French toast because it keeps it thickness and structure even after it is dipped into the mixture and flipped in the skillet.
How long does it take to cook French toast:
French toast usually takes up to 15minutes to cook depending on how many you plan on making.
Ingredients
3 slices of Brioche Bread
1tbsp cinnamon
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of heavy cream
2 large eggs
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
butter
Instructions
In medium bowl crack two large egg, add 1/2 cup of milk, add 1/2 cup of heavy cream and mix until evenly distributed.
add 1tbsp of cinnamon, 1 tbsp of brown sugar, and 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract into milk and egg mixture then mix until blended together.
add 1 tbsp of butter into hot nonstick pan.
slice brioche bread and place in liquid mixture for 10 seconds on each side 1 at a time.
place battered bread into hot skillet and let cook on each side for 5-7 minutes non disturbed and flip and repeat for each bread.
add French toast to plate, garnish, and enjoy!
