Seared scallops w/ romesco sauce
Scallops are the quickest and easiest appetizer. This pan seared scallop recipe is the best. Scallops are my personal favorite and i enjoy cooking them for a date night or just a dinner night for myself. Scallops paired with this delicious Romesco sauce is the perfect duo for those who do not like the fishy (seafood) taste that scallops usually have.
Ingredients
scallops
salt
pepper
oil
romesco sauce (ingredients under sauces)
instructions
heat oil in skillet
pull small band of muscle from the side of scallop if still attached.
salt and pepper to taste on scallops.
place scallops in hot pan and let cook 2 minutes untouched on one side, flip and let cook 10 seconds - 2 minutes on the other side.
once done, place on plate and garnish with romesco sauce
